Ann Coulter Does Not Offend Me

I don't see anything wrong with what Ann Coulter said; it's New Testament 101. I certainly don't think she's anti-semitic for saying it. Truth is, I think there's a lot to be learned about the Old Testament from the New Testament; it's basically a critique of Rabbinic Judaism.

It's too bad the host of the show didn't try to have a dialogue with Coulter, instead of just playing the anti-semite card, it could have been interesting.

Finally!
Until now, the only Jews telling their fellow Jews to chill over the whole Coulter thing have been in the right-wing. I was disappointed in the centrist/open-minded J-blogging community for not taking it as nonchalantly.

It kind of scares me that I agree with Cross Currents on this one. ;)

I found the whole thing kinda funny.
She's right on a lot of counts.
1. That is what believing Christians think. When a Christian says he loves you and wants to help you - be very afraid.
2. It is a Jew's job to perfect himself in this world.
and most importantly
3. The only real reality IS Seinfeld.

The belief she describes may be traditional, but most mainline Christian denominations today reject it.

Coulter is a performance artist of the right. She is not the sort of person you engage in dialogue with.

I have seen no evidence that she's even particularly religious. What denomination does she belong to?

We've drfited from "I don't like you because I disagree with what you say," to "I disagree with what you say because I don't like you.". Another sign of the infantilization of America.
