Brasserie Open After Pesach
The Brasserie answered their phone this morning and said they are open from 5 to 9 today. Hurray!
And, about that other thing, more coming soon.
As in 5AM to 9 AM?
Posted by: Dr. E at April 11, 2007 1:43 PMIs this really a surprise to anyone? When I read your post "March 30, 2007
Brasserie Not Re-opening after Pesach" I was skeptical. To me it seems that the ownership makes this announcement allot as a marketing ploy and I'm just not biting anymore. I have heard it at least 3 times since the 2 owners "split up" and it has been a sure thing and imminent each time. If you have to sink that low for business, you don't deserve any.
I don't think it's a marketing ploy. I think someone keeps bailing Lonnie out.
I'd rather them just spend the money on Bite Burgers for everyone.
Posted by: Anonymous at April 11, 2007 10:55 PMit is certainly not a marketing ploy. That's some serious cynicism. Believe me, Lonnie is taking a bath on the place and truly wants it open as long as possible because as opposed to his ex-partner, he cares about the community. Here's to hoping he stays open!
Posted by: zif the clown at April 12, 2007 12:41 AMI am always suspicious of claims that someone keeps a millions-dollar business open because he "cares about the community". Cry me a river. A person keeps a business open because he hopes to profit thereby. And there's nothing wrong with that.
