Kosher Food Porn

Daboysof905: Crab cakes for Shabbat (don't worry, they're kosher crab cakes). Admittedly, I never liked the real thing back in the day, but my palate has broadened a bit since then.

And for desert: SoccerDad's homemade Chocolate Babka.

My sister made "crab" cakes a few weeks ago. I believe I offered you one.

Anyway, they were pretty good. She had some people over who also had eaten "the real thing" and they said it obviously was not the same, but not bad.

I saw the word "porn" and I got all excited. What a letdown.

People forget that the stomach is the biggest erogenous zone...wave of the future, dude. 100% imitation crab.

Thanks for the heads-up...looks like a good recipe.

What is this pepper business? Crab cakes (even fake ones) should not be thusly diluted.

Diana- could you explain that to the FFB please? What do you mean when you say diluted?

Diana - it is entirely likely that the imitation stuff does not taste as good as the real thing, and so pepper is used to mask the inauthentic flavor.
