Sefiras HaOmer Update

I'm out.

And I was staring at the sign during mincha saying to myself, "As soon as you're done davening..."

Ah well. Better than last year.

no excuse. reminds me at 9pm every non chag night, in case I miss late maariv. Only problem is, last year I missed one day. Shabbos spent alone in japan! stupid @#$%^ reliance on gadgets one cant use on shabbos.

Common misconception. We don't say the bracha, because of the rishonim who hold that you are not yotzei the rest of the omer. But that is only because of "safek berachot lehakel." However, there are plenty of rishonim who say that the mitzva is separate to each day. So keep on counting.
