Brevity is a Virtue
I have trouble saying anything in less than three paragraphs.
I am in constant struggle with the voices in my mind.
Perhaps I need to start posting in Haiku.
Words go on and on,
Brevity is a virtue,
Get with the program.
I think Haiku can be a natural, zesty enterprise
I am the walrus
Ulee fixes the cable
Those are good burgers
Foul! Over the line,
This is not 'Nam, pacifist.
Dude, mark it zero.
Larry, your homework,
You are killing your father.
This is what happens.
Watch the beverage
We got 'em working in shifts
Yeah I got a rash
Stepmom's a nympho
And a good day to you Sir
What, an Irish monk?
El Dudarino
Is not into brevity
Achieved anyway
You are butchering the concept of haiku! It's not only about syllables. The second, seven-syllable long line, is supposed to be relevant to the first and third line in different ways.
:) No hard feelings though.

I have made a travesty
So goodnight, sweet prince
Yehupitz, pray tell,
please expound the meaning of,
your castigation.
Haiku shows beauty,
emerging from constrained
creativity

Her life's in your hands,
He asked me to repeat: her
life is in your hands.
It was so much fun
Until you started taking
It seriously
Busting my aggates
This aggression will not stand
Will you just calm down?!
Calmer than you are.
You're not wrong, Walter, you're an...
Calmer than you are.
