Ha'aretz reports that efforts such as Dor Yesharim have all but eradicated Tey Sachs (via AJHistory).

For those following along at home, this would be a type-2 injustice, that which science and technology have the ability to eradicate, allowing man to live with honor and dignity.

Science and technology have the wherewithal to eliminate all injustices, but providing technologies that do a better and earlier job of identifying threats.
